NATIVE CHURCH PROGRAM

The Native Church Program serves as a channel for God’s love to be shown in a very practical way, by providing funds to congregations in developing nations to complete their church buildings.  This Program works because the congregation has to do their part by raising the walls up and so have ownership of their building.  The NCP then comes in to help the local congregation get their roof up, we help them to “concentrate on the Lord, not on rain and or shine” during their worship times.

The Goals of the Native Church Program are:

  • To extend God’s love in a practical, measurable way
  • To enable people, churches, families, groups, and businesses opportunity involvement in church growth by sponsoring or co-sponsoring these churches
  • To provide those interested a connection with a real congregation so they may be prayed for
  • To provide background information of the socio-economic situations in which the churches are planted and growing
  • To fund one roof per day around the year

Current Projects

13038 - UGANDA

This church started by having services in a bar – the only available place they could rent on a Sunday! The congregation bought the bar and tore the derelict building down, replacing it with the structure that now needs a roof. The congregation has 250 members in this community of 2,500. $4,000 is needed for the roof.

13039 - KENYA

This church began with seven members meeting in a rented house. Then a church member donated ¼ acre of land and paid for a sheet metal structure to be erected which is visible on the inside. Affected by Covid, many members left or passed away. The now 65 members worked hard to get the church built to roof height. $4,400 is needed for the roof.

13041 - MALAWI

The founding pastor of this church has planted numerous churches in poverty-stricken areas, and oversees five congregations now. Despite ever-changing demographics, this church has over 120 members. Please consider aiding them with $3,500 for the roof.

13043 - ZAMBIA

This church began as a cell group of the mother church, some four miles away. As the attendance grew so did the realization of a local congregation to have their own building. There are now 100 members. $4,370 Will cover all the costs of a roof for this church.

13051 INDIA

The current pastor is the third generation of ministers in a very hard area where Christians are persecuted. The congregation has 40 members in a community of 2,000 Hindus. $2,500 will provide a roof over the believers heads.

13052: GHANA

The church’s growth is stymied by lack of a good place to worship. It has 47 members. $4,400 will provide a lasting roof over this beautiful church.

13053: PERU

The entire roof has to be replaced on this church building. We have a half-sponsorship of $1,900 left on this project.

13055: SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA

Located in a predominantly Muslim community this congregation used door to door evangelism, the Jesus film, and a lifestyle of community service and have won many former Muslims to Christ. Please help the congregation with the $3,740 to roof their meeting place.

13061: KENYA

Begun as an independent church this one did not really grow. When it joined a denomination which put better spiritual leadership into place, it started growing and had to move from a thatched mud hut to this brick and mortar building. $4,400 in hand will enable them to complete their building's roof.

How You Can Help

  • By committing to sponsor or co-sponsor a church from application through completion:  for $50 per month = $600 per year, or more – up to the full sponsorship
  • By praying for the congregations that are sponsored
  • By telling friends, relatives, and churches about this exciting opportunity
  • By sponsoring another project once one is completed

Each project application is prayerfully considered and approved for a certain amount.  This amount is reflected in the “Full” column.  “Half” indicates the amount needed to sponsor half of the project.  “Needed” is the amount not yet covered by other partners.  Any commitment of $600 or above to a given project is considered a part sponsorship.  Repeated or one-time gifts of any amount are always welcome!
